Square Enix has released a new trailer for its upcoming live-action mystery title, The Centenary Case: A Shijima Story, sharing the game’s main theme song in English, titled “Drifting Fruit”. Jennifer Sumire sings this enchanting and almost ominous track, setting the stage for the captivating adventure that will thrill would-be players.

This is a hand-developed, live-action mystery adventure. Throughout this game, players witness the tragic story of the Shijima family, who have experienced many family deaths over the past 100 years. The protagonist is a mystery novelist named Haruka Kagami, who uses her detective prowess to investigate the four deaths that have plagued this family’s history.
High-quality cinematography and live-action gameplay are at the forefront of the experience to immerse players in multiple eras of Japan. Nanami Sakuraba plays the protagonist, and Haruka Kagami and Yuta Hiraoka play the Shijima family’s second son, Eiji Shijima.
Those who purchase the game before release will receive a behind-the-scenes feature titled The Centenary Case: A Shijima Story and a mini soundtrack composed by Yuki Hayashi.
