Publisher MangaGamer has announced that the visual novel developed by Novectacle seventh lair will launch on PC via Steam and MangaGamer on March 31, 2022.
This visual novel was developed by Novectacle, the same people behind Fata Morgana’s house. The narrative is sort of a character-sharing spin-off, but with a much lighter tone.
Go with a metanarrative twist, seventh lair tells a story about the online interactions between an indie game developer and his fans. Michel is a 27-year-old developer who goes by the name Dark†Knight and shares his work on a small website called Kingdom Heven. Unfortunately, the fan interaction has been filled with trolls and insults, but some people really want to see his next work.
Michel decides to fight for an April Fool’s Day release, but something weird happens. Suddenly he and the fans find themselves in the fantasy world of his game and the game is a buggy mess. Together they will have to fight and search for a way back, but fans will also show frustration and the raw emotions of their experiences in a much more personal experience than usual. This potential danger could cause them to show their true selves.
