A 12-year-old Nigerian boy, Kelvin, who went viral for his pidgin English analysis of a game between Chelsea and Wolves, has won awards.

In his commentary video, Kelvin spoke with great confidence as he was interviewed by the Football Fans Tribe.

The good Samaritan gave him money

A few days later, the tribe revealed that following his viral video, a good Samaritan contacted them and sent some money to the 12-year-old boy.

They revealed that they were able to get him a school bag, a phone and other things. The 12-year-old also received a branded shirt.

Yobo children celebrated Nigeria’s victory

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that a video showed children of former Nigerian player, Joseph Yobo celebrating the country’s win over Egypt at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

During the match, one of the children carried anointing oil and held it in front of the television while the child made a cross when Egyptian players were in possession of the ball.

In the video shared on Instagram by the mother, Adaeze, immediately the referee blew the final whistle, the boy and the girl jumped for joy as they celebrated.
