Forbes India – CNN-News18 Becomes India’s No. 1 English-Language News Channel and Beats the Competition

VSNN-News18 has become the country’s leading English-language news channel according to the latest data released by the Broadcast Audience Research Council (BARC).

According to BARC data (week 14-17’2022), CNN-News18 achieved 26.3% market share in India’s urban+rural segment (AB15+ segment), ahead of Times Now and Republic.

In the Prime-Time segment, the channel garnered 40.2% audience share, against 25% for Republic and 20.2% for Times Now.
