Alluri Sitarama Raju, the symbol of Indian culture: PM Modi

Bhimavaram: Freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju represents the philosophy of Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat, which brought our nation together, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said.

The Prime Minister praised the independence warrior during a speech at Alluri Sitarama Raju’s 125th birthday celebrations in Bhimavaram, Andhra Pradesh.

“As India celebrates Azai ka Amrit Mahotsav, we are concurrently celebrating the 125th birthday of Alluri Sitarama Raju. head and pay homage to him,” Prime Minister Modi said.

Prime Minister Modi stressed that India’s liberation movement is the story of sacrifice and perseverance across the country, emphasizing that it is not just the story of a few decades, places or of individuals.

The Prime Minister said Sitaram Raju Garu’s life path from birth to sacrifice is an inspiration to all of us. At the age of 27, he gave his life as a sacrifice for India’s independence after devoting his life to the rights of the tribal society.
