Amir Khan’s Laal Singh Chadha failed to win the box office battle after being called for a boycott. Mogul, a biopic by T-series founder Gulshan Kumar, has reportedly been shelved following the box office failure of Laal Singh Chaddha. Aamir was brought into the project after Akshay Kumar left.
A report surfaced in the media that Aamir’s next film, Mogul, has been shelved indefinitely. The reason why the film stalled is said to be the failure of Laal Singh Chaddha. According to reports, T-Series chief honcho Bhushan Kumar has decided to stall the project following the debacle of Khan’s latest theatrical release.
Another source dismissed the news and said, “The decision not to do ‘Mogul’ was taken by Aamir Khan two years ago and it has nothing to do with Laal Singh Chadha. Contrary to rumours, this is not a recent decision.”
Talking Mogul, which is a biopic of T series founder Gulshan Kumar, was announced in 2017 Akshay Kumar. “My association with him started with my very first movie. He was the emperor of music! Now know his story… #Mogul, the story of Gulshan Kumar”, but later Akshay Kumar left this project . Bhushan Kumar, speaking about this project, said, “People keep asking me about Mogul, but I’m in no rush to make this movie. It’s not a project for me, it’s a dream. I can do it this year, next year or even three years later. There is no limit (of time). I promise it will be done at the right time. We don’t have yet decided on filming deadlines.
