New Delhi: Grade 10 and 12 students across the country who appeared for council exams this year are worried as the council exam results season is in full swing. What makes students all the more anxious is that people around them keep saying that jury results decide a student’s future. Although the result of the board examination plays an important role in the career trajectory of a student, it does not decide the future or fix the proportionality of the talent residing in the student with grades. Still, if you’re wondering about the level of importance of board results, here’s the story of an IAS who just got passing marks on his 10th board exams and was told by other than he couldn’t succeed let alone do anything in his life.
History of IAS who got passing grades in class 10e board results
Tushar D Sumera who is the collector of Bharuch district in Gujarat only got passing grades in his 10th class results and people not only from his locality but also from the school said that he wouldn’t do anything meaningful with his life. Sharing Sumera’s story, IAS Awanish Sharan on Twitter wrote, “Bharuch Collector Tushar Sumera while sharing his 10th class mark sheet wrote that he only got passing marks in 10th class.
“He scored 35 in English, 36 in math and 38 in science out of 100. Not only in the whole village, but in this school, it was said that there was nothing they could do,” IAS Sharan added.
